He's hovering over the airstone, letting the CO2 bubbles hit him under his chin, and he keeps diving down to the airstone and eating bubbles as they come out. He's literally opening his mouth and catching them. Is it bad for them to play around with the CO2 like this? It's right in his face..

DIY CO2?, I had some fish facinated with (and trying to eat) the CO2 bubbles that collected under the top tank braces (very full tank), they lost interest after a day or so and seem none the worse for wear.

The gouramis I got on the week end has claimed the area around my DIY CO2 bell in the one corner. He sits there and lets the bubbles wash over him. Never chases them, just goes for a bubble bath. Defends it like a madman against my serapes though. Only spot he will stand and fight.

lol.

its like Amsterdam for fishies... if ya know what i mean!
