Last week I was at one (of the two) lfs to pick up some water cond and started looking at the fish (natually) when the guy who works there came up and said "Did you see the new fish we got in?" I then asked him what they were and I think my eyes became the size of golf balls and my jaw dropped to my knees when he told me. They had gotten 2 baby silver arowanas in about a week or so earlier. Needless to say I ended up bringing one home with me. He has been in my 10 gal guppie tank until this evening when I put him in a cycled 30 gal with 3 small guppies. He will stay in the 30 gal until he's big enough to move to my 135 gal tank. Of course I know I"m going to need a bigger tank than that down the line, which I've been dreaming of and making plans to hopefully to get. But right now I'm just enjoying how beautiful he is. He's swimming around in the 30 gal looking so cool! He's eating well (the guy at the lfs said he and the other one had both been eating very good for him while they were there too. Anyways I just thought I would share my "Valentine present to myself" with you all
