this tank had been running for 3 months before i even ordered RCS, its just a 2.5 g. i only have 4 in there now, the other 16 are in my 20 long. tell me what ya think, and how many do you think i could squeeze in this tank?

The general rule is 10 neocarids to a gallon.. I would suggest letting them populate it themselves :D

that's what i'm hoping for. i'm trying to see if any more babies survive in here, or in the 20 long, which has pygmy cories and dwarf livebearers

I had about 100-150+ in my 5.5 in spite of getting rid of many. I finally got the rest moved over to a 10. From the looks of one of the females now, she looks like she will need a 5.5 just for her fry alone! Good Luck!

algae has taken over, but as of now i have 2 berried females and one whos movin eggs around as i type. since the shrimp in this tank grew so much faster than those in the 20L (the berried ones were the first three females in the 2.5) i transfered almost all of them. not sure how H. formosa and pygmy cories could scare a shrimp out of growing, but now all i have to do is wait for the baby train to pull in :D

lotsa lotsa babies, i understand now what people mean when they talk about how fast RCS breed. ill try to take some pics, especially since the algea went away
