Nice Python. I am more into the Boa's I have a Columbian Red Tail.

:agree: It is a good lookin ball. I too prefer the RTB's. I've had 100's of snakes. Balls can be a pain to a newbie. They don't care to be handled much either. RTB's seem anxious to be handled.

Maybe when i get more tanks ill get a red tail boa. Some store around me ha them for only $45 cause they are getting rid of there reptiles. To bad i dont have an extra tank :( although i guess i could get a 30g rubbermaid container for now and take advantage of the sale.

Weird.

Take your time. Don't rush into it. There's nothing wrong with a Ball. They are good small snakes. They are just not great if you want a snake you can handle a lot.
RTB's get big. Up to 15 ft. they usually average out around 8ft., but you better be prepared for a big snake later on. I ran a reptile rescue among other things. That was the biggest reason people gave up herps. (kinda like pacu and oscars) they saw a cute little snake or lizzard in the pet shop and now they have a tank busting monster.
My biggest and favorite RTB was 10ft and 50lbs.

Well i got a miami phase corn snake today. I went to a snake expo and someone was givin it out. So know we have 11 fish tanks and 2 snake tanks :)
