He is a 10-yr anniversary present from my husband. I sure hope I'm able to keep him alive and happy. So far he's been peaceful and calm in my tank. Love him! The gift-giver isn't so bad himself either

Thanks! He has pretty much staked out his spot and has sat there for the past few days, uprooting some plants to make it homey, lol. Luckily it's in the front of the tank so I can watch him. I put in a cave but he said no thanks to that. He is very peaceful and all the other fish come right up to him now. Shrimp too! I have read he might try to eat them, but no problems so far. He loves feeding time, and eats sinking pellets, frozen bloodworms, and frozen brine shrimp with equal gusto.
