I recently purchased a pink parrot fish and noticed he has a kink in his spine towards the tail end. Will this affect his growth? Will it lead to other problems?

ive seeen this before, the fish may have broken the spine or it was born with a disfiguration. Parrotfish are known to be very delicate and easily catch disease, but only time will tell if he makes it through
actually with hybrid fish it is not uncommon for genetic defect/anomalies.
