My planted 90 gallon

HC are those little plants right?
I had no luck with that plant... everytime I planted and put co2, it photosynthesis and the bubbles lifted up the plants out of the soil...
and the shrimps will always pull them out.
I'm more familiar with Pearl Grass cuba than HC...

When planting HC stick it deep into the ground. I put it about an inch in with the leaves just barely poking out. Also helps a lot to have a fine substrate.

Thanks for the info...My wife wants to know what that plant on the far right of your tank is.Its tall with I guess sort of heart shaped leaves.

WOW! Beautiful photos, Beautiful tank, Beautiful fish. Stunning. I am just starting to explore the world of planted tanks, yours is an inspiration. I have just cycled a 230 litre tank which I am in the process of planting up. what lighting do you have in the tank?

Thanks.

both of my parkinson rainbows had a similar white growth near their mouths, after a while it just kinda fell away, I never did find out what it was.

Hydrocotyle leucocephala http://www.tropica.com/go.asp?plant=038

I don't have this plant in the tank anymore becuase it grows like a weed and will get as tall as any tank you put it in. It gets water roots under every leaf, which is pretty at first, but when they get really long and need a trim it was just too much work for me to want to do long term. Shrimp and ottos love this plant.
