My planted 90 gallon(warning, lots of pics)

This tank is in flux a lot since im pretty new to planted tanks and still figuring stuff out. I mostly like the state I have it in right now, so I wanted to share it :)

HC has grown in a lot, phasing out high maintenace plants. Still need to get rid of L. Repens am going to go will all aromatica there.

I'm still collecting plants to see what I like and don't like so there's a couple of randomly placed plants around my tank.

Have some stuff that I know that I like but just havent grown enough of yet, like the java fern.

The stargrass and ludwigia are soon not going to be in this tank.

I think this is a big improvement from my old layout and is way less work :)

Same tank about a month ago

This is how it looked when it was very high maintenance.

I took these pics to preserve what it was before I completely took out the glosso and some other plants that were just too much work.

My favorite fish, Sky

My favorite part of the tank, it will look better when I trim some of those plants up.

A shot of one of my rams, this was supposed to show the height of the glosso, but he likes the camera I guess.

This was to show how I am slowy moving the glosso out and making room for the HC as it grows in.

The best pic I could be of one of my rainbow fish, my camera is not good for close up work, most pics are very blurry :(

1 week after setup this is what it looked like

As you can see it has changed considerably over the last 3 or 4 months and I have learned a lot, still have a lot to learn though, but thats part of the fun :)

Thanks :) I had to take it out and replace it with HC though, becuase I was not going to pull it up and replant it every couple of months. With the HC I can just trim it.

AMAZING! what fetilizers do you use, that is some remarkable growth! what about for the subsrate? do you mix with gravel or use all florite or eco-complete?

tell me... i must know! give to zim!
