there was a wonderful family that came in and i was able to take a few shots great dad totally understands how to be on his kids level

so as we were downsizing our pets at home we gave away our entire brood of degus and one of the people i was surprized by was my friend scott when i got to his house to drop off his degus , scott used to have a 12 ft reticulated python till he was almost sent to jail for 5 years for having it anyways hes a straight up single dad raising 3 kids so they came for lunch

and today in came this dad and his kids they got their first tank as a family christmas present a 20g and they came in cause they saw the 180

what i really like about being in the university is the chance to interact with other families im still amazed at how these tanks i have set up here work a very special thing between the parents and the kids
 
Thought I would revive this thread with a couple of pics my wife took a few days ago.

I was holding my youngest son jethro and he was totally fascinated with the fish tank behind me.

The fish he is stairing at are my jaguar who are very interactive hard to say who was stairing more at who.
