Slorg is definitely the best name so far, but that's not saying much LMAO...
He does look like a coral snake (Snape?), but where does that hook up with "The Colonel" (Colonel begs for a Capital T "The" in front of it, no?). Stripes do kind of look like a military ribbon or something...

I'm about to name him Gizmo (after the mogwai in gremlins) or even Mogwai, because every time the light goes (BRIGHT LIGHT! BRIGHT LIGHT!) on he's out like Cheryl Swoopes. The only time I see him is when the lights are out... and then only if I surprise him by turning on the lamp across the room, then he'll sit very still and as soon as I stop looking he hides again... SHEESH every morning I check on them before I go, with him I'll never know what's up.
HAHAHA! After more consideration, I like it... he's got those little whiskers that look like a fuhrer mustache... At least I didn't name him Hitler...
