Naming Fish!

There are only three fish in my tank that have names, mainly because they are the only ones distinguishable from the other schools that all look alike.

"Firefly" is one of my male swordtails, he's of the pineapple color variant with light bluish eyes. He moves like lightning in his mating/challenge displays, resembling a firefly's streaming light as they fly.
"Quicksilver" is the other male sword, his sword hasn't come in just yet and his top half is gray, his sides are black, and belly white. He also has light bluish eyes. His name is an added charm to his color scheme.
"Titan" is the solo redtail shark, obviously his/her name suits the bold disposition, and striking beauty.

Those are the only named so far anyway...~Angela

male swordtail is kamakazi b/c he jumped out of his acclimation bucket 3 times

female sword is Go-Go

neon's- the crazy 88 (kill bill)

pleco- norbert

corys are Seguaro, Senorita Lola Verdita, Pontuf, Yang Zi, and the smallest is Man of the Tank

i call the amaonos the proletariats

my bettas are Hiawatha and Arised

I named a common pleco "Sarge" or "Sargeant" and a golden dust molly "Joaquin" and my personal favorite, a small discus named "Fabroso"

I rarely name my fish... there's just too many. I leave it up to my 5 year old who re-names random fish on a regular basis!

The only fish we have who have permanent names are:

George the Common Pleco
Kenny the Betta
Tony Soprano the biggest, baddest, darkest colored frontosa (he seems so sinister!!)

Well my sons betta (actually the "family betta") is called Mr. Hanky - but i secretly call him "propane" cause to me his colours and the way his fins ripple look just like a propane flame.
That is a cool betta sorry :OT:
