Long time since I've been here as I had to get rid of everything! Starting again but keeping it small. Want to do a planted nano cube and would like sugestions and good fish for this size tank. I was thinking of dwarf rainbows and some juli cory's and a couple of ottos. Would this work? Or any sugestions for other fish.
Thank you!

Well...what do you mean by nano? What size tank are you talking about? The fish you mention aren't typical "nano" inhabitants...

I can tell you now, "dwarf" rainbows (praecox) still get to about 2.5" and require a lot of swimming space.

Are you talking about the JBJ 12 gallon nano cube? That would be rather cramped for a rainbow. How about:

Betta
Dwarf Gourami
Paradise fish
Pair of blue rams

Yes, I'm talking about the jbj 12 gallon. I like the dwarf rainbows but don't want them cramped. I like the idea of a couple of rams! The cories would be the bottom clean up crew and the otto's for algea and cleaning the plants.
Both corries and otto's are pretty small.

how about threadfin rainbows? they love densely planted tanks and don't need that much swimming room. the 12 would be borderline for dwarf neon rainbows but I think you could manage with just a couple. They aren't as active as some of the larger rainbows. Kyle
