nano heater

hey, I want to get another tank, a small one, just to house some plants and maybe 1 fish, or a few shrimp. My problem is temperature. I see so many "nano" tanks and such online and a lot of them look really, really good. The view isn't obstructed by a massive heater (in comparison to tank size) but I just can't seem to find a heater small enough for a tank like that. I've looked at some 2.5 gallons that have a built-in filter so that isn't a problem, but how do I heat it?

Am I just not looking hard enough for a small heater?

(ps: keeping the room at a steady temperature isn't an option for me)

You will notice that none of them have a temperature setting like regular bigger tank heateres, and are only capable of increasing water temp by 5 degrees.

I don't know which ones are safe to use with acrylic tanks, either, as they may get quite hot.
