hi guys. i'm thinking of setting up a nano tank (10gal) but with the limited availability of equipment/accessories here i was wondering what is the simplest way of setting one up.?

hi- ok. first, go to www.nano-reef.com. that is a great place to learn about setting up nanoreefs. second, do lots of reading before taking the leap. the books: The Conscientios Marine Aquarist by fenner 9 look up the book on amazon.com and get a copy). that should point you in the right direction.

You really want to understock a reef tank...for a 10 gallon, I would suggest 2 small fishes...maybe a small clown and a goby. As mentioned above, Nano-reef.com is a great site...it's the site that got me started 5 years ago when i set up my reef tank. Enjoy!
I agree... the 5 fish mentioned above is very excessive... the most I ever put in my 29g was 6 fish (all but one were small species) and I think that was pushing it.
