Nassarius Snails in a Bare-bottom tank

The next build will be a bare-bottom tank where I take all my current sand and put it in the sump/refugium. I have about one dozen nassarius snails. Will they survive in a bare-bottom tank? I know the safe thing would be to put them in the DSB refugium, but I’d prefer to keep them in the display, since they are fantastic cleaners.
 
they bury themselves in the sand, i think they would be stressed if they couldn't do that,...

I dunno..myself.. The store I bought mine from has nothing in the holding tank for them but lots of shells from previous death of snails and other stock that had shells.....

BB tanks wouldn't have the need for them though...you can point those Power heads to the bottom and stir up debris to keep it in the water column...

You may be better off getting the glass cleaning snails vs sand bed stirring ones.
 
My lfs had some for sale in a BB container and half died due to stress so i wouldnt do BB with them.
