The scary part is that it's pretty easy (and cheap) to buy both A. gigas and alligator gars. Some people just don't understand what they are getting themselves into.

I saw people catching a big fish just like the one on the first page (last on the pic sequence). It was like the biggest fish in the lake.

They have some paddlefish in captivity in the Underwater Adventures aquarium at the Mall of America here in MN... There really cool fish, I wish I brought my camera the last time I went.
