hey all , i set some minnow traps in a local still pond rain water runoff,. to my surprise i captured a tiny warmouth, neat fish, great colors.. iv'e had him overnight and im trying to feed him shrimp pellets, warmouths are only meat eaters and if in a few days i dont get him to eat ill break down and by him some guppys,. i tend to try new projects and this is my latiest. i also captured a Pumkinseed,. both these fish are beautiful..
just wanted to share and maybe get some response,. here in eastern N.c fish are very expensive and plants are outragious in price,. so i figure ill catch my own fish and see how that works. im ammazed that local fish aren't for sale in the pet trade because all fish come from local areas somewhere, i suppose america would rather pilliage other countrys resorces than local ones,. on a side note they have great personalitys and are very currious fishes,.
