Hello.
I have a 120 gallon tank with a mated pair of flowerhorns. My question is, with how aggressive these fish are, I am trying to figure out what type of pleco I can put into my tank? without any trial and error. My male is 8inch and my female is 6inch.

IME, very aggressive...especially when breeding....I would drop the idea of a pleco, but that is me.

Pterygoplichthys pardalis or P. disjunctivushttp://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=88#1 might work but they need to be close to the same size as the flowehorns and close to the same temperament. I have a P. disjunctivus with Oscars and when they decide they want to pick on him he is able to fight back. He is just as tough and doesn't put up with their poking and prodding. Sometimes out of the blue, he will chase them off. He is 15" and is not afraid to display or use his spines when he has had enough.

I don't know if this is typical behavior or a learned survival one. Either way, he does just fine with aggressive Oscars.
