does anyone have any ideas/comments on keeping texas/green terror chiclids together? I want to keep larger chiclids but I only have a 90 gallon tank how many of these larger types can I put into my tank? What about jaguars??

any input in greatly appreciated.

My friend has a texas and gt together. But they are only like 4 and 3". I think with and 90 gallon one GT and one Texas would do great as long as they don't fight. A jag would live in a 90 by itself but deffinatly wouldnt be happy. There is enough water volume but the dimensions on a standard 90 really aren't enough for a male. If you get a female it would be happier in a 90. But it must be ALONE. Good luck. BTW this is all for a standard 48" 90 gallon

Keep in mind that a well taken care of a Green Terror can grow up to about 12" in size. They also are very aggressive fish and don't tend to do well with others. Texas Cichlids can grow up to 11" in size and can also be aggressive. The same can be said about the Jags. The combo of these types of fish in a 4' long tank will most likely not end up very well.

I would go for a Male/Female pair of only one kind if it were me.
