Need help identifing these Angels

Need help from the Angel experts. I traded some of my juvenille Angels for these large Angels. I have been keeping Angels for almost 20 years now, but am not up on all the genetic's. I can identify most of the common types of Angels (DD Black, Koi, Gold Marbel, Black Marbel, Silver, Albino, Platium, etc...) I never owned any Angels of this color variation, so I not sure what they are. My best guess would be that they are some type of Silver that is crossed with some other type. The person I traded these Angels for did not know the background of the parent fish, just told me he has had them since they where small. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I want to say they are Silver Ghost angels because they are completely without body stripes. Not sure if that is 100%, but it's the first thing that comes to mind.
 
looks like what use to be called German Red(red angels)
they are more ghost with gold crest. but they are beautiful
 
Angels laying Eggs

:headbang2:Thanks for those that offered a reply. Apparently this was an even better trade then first expected. I have only had these Angels since Wednesday evening and they might be a mated pair. They are in the process of spawning as we speak. I guess I will find out in a couple of days if they are fertile. I usually pull my Angel eggs to hatch, but think I will see if they will parent raise.

in your first post, the top angel has a very reddish head. did that one turn out to be the male?
 
I was about 95% sure that the one with the red on it's crown was a male, I wasn't real sure if the other was a male or female. From the looks of their breeding tubes they are male and female. Unfourtantely, it looks like most of the eggs are infertile, they have turned white. This is the first time that they have spawned that I am aware of. I will have to wait for the next batch and maybe pull the eggs and see if I can get them to hatch artificiatly. They seem to be good parents, they haven't eaten any of the eggs that I am aware of, but they also aren't picking the white eggs off either.

Also, a few people had commented that they look like German Red Angels, does anyone know where I can find pic's of these fish or more info on them (genetic make up). I tried Google but didn't find much out. I have never heard of German Red's before. Thanks.
 
My understanding of this is tho called german red most of the work to 'enhance' the red color is done in the Czech Republic. they selectively breed ghost angels (I believe it is easier to see the 'enhanced' red in the ghost. with enhanced feeding(plankton ) which they believe permanently adds the red pigment.
there is also(from Germany) Koi where the orange coloration is enhanced to darken. I don't believe this is tha case for your fish but it could explain any gold coloration.
also you will find info on German Red Blushers..again smokey or ghosts but in these the coloration is in the gill plate which usually changes with time as the fish reaches adult and permanent pigmentation takes place in the gill plate.

you may find more and better information searching angelfish forums.

Update on New Angels Breeding

I just wanted to update everyone on the progress with these new Angels I have. Looks like the second time spawn is success. I actually pulled the eggs this time and actually have wigglers. They started hatching about 2 days ago. Should be free swimming within the next 3 to 4 days. I estimate several hundred wigglers. Time to start hatching brine shrimp. I am excited to see what type of fry I will get from this pair. I will keep you updated with more pic's as time goes on.
