Hi from New Zealand. I'm planning on creating a mini ornamental pond in a half-barrel and was just wanting some advice, tips and suggestions on plants ans set up etc. The half-barrel I'm looking at is 3' diameter and 2' deep (approx). We I live we have mild weather all year round except for the occassional early morning frost in winter and occasional scorching day in summer.
