hey everyone. i have a question about my fahaka puffer. I just recently bought him at about 2 inches long from my local aquarium store. He adapted well to my tank and seems to be doing great. but anyways here is my question-- When will he be too big for my 10 gallon tank? i want to make sure he is comfortable where he is living. i arranged to sell him to a friend with a much larger tank when he is too big for mine. but i need to know how many inches is to big for a 10 gallon? also, in how long will that come around? thanks any help is appreciated. Oh, and whatever other info on fahaka puffers is awesome also.

Wayyy to small. They need around 120+ gallons. And they grow extremely quick, I hear owners say an inch or more a month is common. How big is your friends tank?

my friend has a few different but his freshwater is 55 gallons i think. so even he wont get to keep that long. but i think he was planning to sell it back to the pet store once it gets to big for his tank too.

totally. they are extremely fun to watch. that makes me mad that i have to sell him to my friend so soon.

so if i want the puffer to be comfortable is it best that i sell him to my friend with the 55 gallon as soon as i can?

alright well ill have to figure out something to do with him. but i will miss him. By the way thanks for the help electro and zakk.
