need picture help!!!!

i have a Nikon coolpix L10 digi camera. i was wondering if anyone could give me tips on how to make my pics come out ok.

Just some general advice, dont get to close to the aquarium or the picture may come out blurry. Have lots of light available so you dont have to use the flash, and if you do have to use the flash take the pic at an angle so the flash doesnt reflect off the tank. Lots of patience is key, as well as taking lots of pics to get one thats really good.

i have a shutter setting ... would that help?

make sure the room is dark and the only lights are the tank lights

make sure the outside of your tank is very clean with no spots or streaks
