Need soft coral help I got two problems.

1) I have a finger leather that is about a year old, it's about 7 or 8" in size. I have notice in the past 3 weeks that some of the fingers turn white at the tip and decay. Then it start working it's way up the stalk till it gets to a large branch. The rest of the coral looks ok but it looks like it might be spreading. What is happening and what can I do about it?

2) I was rearranging the LR yesterday and my 6" cup coral came lose from it rock. I tried super gluing it back but no luck. Currently it just sitting on top of some rock but I see it floating away. Any thoughts on how to get it to adhere to a rock??

1) It's disintegrating. Something is out of whack that needs fixing. Water parameters ok? Anything picking on it? Any algae growing on it?

2) When you say "cup coral," you're referring to a soft coral, correct? (Usually, "cup coral" is used for Turbinaria spp, like Pagodas). If it's a softy, just use some fishing string or veil netting to hold the coral in place. It should reattach itself in place within a few weeks.

Yes the tips start turning white and decaying. Looks like it creeps it's way up the stalk. Water meaures ok. Could I have some kind of war going on between two softies? It was sitting between cup coral (not sure what type), Xenias, some toodstool corals and various shrooms. The cup and Leatehr would touch some times.

THx for your help Boog..
