Ok i have decided i want to get an oscar i was just wondering what bottom feeders could i get and are there any other possible tank mates he/she could have??

i saw a site not too long ago and the guy kept clown loaches with his cichlids, even red devils. it looked very cool with all those loaches in his tank. the only problem i could see is if you buy the loaches small and the oscar as a juvenile the oscar will quickly grow whereas loaches take a long time to grow so they could potentially become food.
plecos are also a good choice to keep with cichlids, their pretty hardy and tough, and they grow quite large.
as for other tankmates, silver dollars, giant danios, tinfoil barbs all make great dither fish. and cichlids of similar size and aggresion as well can be kept with oscars.
btw what size tank do you have as you will be limited with tankmates depending on the size
