All fake plants bought from Michaels craft store. Still have to find a black background for the tank.

Now, as to the new camera - I need suggestions! So far, my only criteria are:

- <$250 (might consider going up to $300
- Captures video in HD
- Takes great aquarium pictures!
- Macro is equivalent or better than this shot I took with my old camera:

P.S.: For those of you with camera suggestions, I would love samples of your own pictures.

Great rescape!! You can just get some black posterboard and tape to the back. That's what I do for mine. Looks great, is cheap and easy to change.

Only concern with that is, you know, essentially paper, and water. Of course, I could just be particularly messy when I play with the tank.

I would have taken the opportunity to spraypaint the exterior while you had it empty for the rescape. But, it's easy to say that from my perspective, when you were the one doing all the work :grinyes:.
