has anyone have any exp. with Neolamprologus leleupi (Bulu Point)?

can i put them in my 20g long multi tank? i have 2 females multi's in the 20g

or can i put them in my 29g heavy planted, plety hidding places, i have 5 blue rams, 4 tiger barbs, 3 SAE, 2 bamboo shrimp, 3 honey gouramie (sp?)??

Leleupi dosen't work with any shelldweller. They are to agressive. Leleupi are best left with other lake tang cichlids.

I dont think it will work with those fish, Leleupi are very tempermental need to be kept with fish that can fend for them selves. The water params are way different, lake tang fish need very hard water.

Rift Lake cichlids need to be kept with species from their own Lakes. Shellies won't do too good with the them because of the aggression issue. Min tank size for them is a 20 long in my opinion, a 30 breeder would be a much better choice. Its also wise to keep several together, if you can 3 females per male, as the males are very nasty with other Lelupis.
