I like the shadow bass. What is the biggest one you have seen? It looks a lot like a rock bass to me but they get to around 10 inches.

i posted them on nanfa's forum and everyone said shadow bass so thats what i went with, and it it a little different from rock bass, but the biggest one i caught was about 4 in but that was just with a scoopnet lol, heard they get about a foot long

you should its really fun to see all the different types of fish they inhabit different parts of rivers and streams and stuff

Nice fish, Tony. They are definitely shadow bass. Shadows and rocks are similar and closely related, but you don't have rock bass in your area. The darters are handsome too.

See if you can turn up some pirate perch- those are neat little fish and should be pretty easy to find down there.

i got a couple on this trip a bunch of smaller ones but i kept one that was about 3" long, they are very cool
