never seen my guppies this fat?!?!

I've had guppies for over a year now. They reproduce at a MAD rate! but this mommy... she's HUGE! she looks like she's about to blow?

She doesnt appear to have any black spots on her back end like usual, but it has only been approx. 3 weeks since her last batch. She's twice the size she was when she was last pregnant. Is this something else that I should be worried about... or is she just due for a huge batch of fry?

The one I'm concerned about is the silver-yellowish one that looks like a bubble!

Considering the timeline, she's most likely just pregnant with a large batch of fry.

I've seen mine pretty fat before but yours is even fatter by a bit. Shes probrably just really preggy either that or shes got dropsy but probrably just pregnant.

I believe that gestation period of guppies are 28 to 30 days. Give it another week or two.

That bubble is a fish? HeHeHe, I bet there is a lot of babies in there. Most definatly pregnant

Sometimes my guppies' black spots don't show too well. Especially overnight with no lights on. After the lights have been on a while, the spot darkens. Looks preggers to me too.

well it's comforting that you guys all think she's just pregnant! ... I'll keep you guys informed and let you know how many fry she has... if I can count them!
