I wasn't able to find a used tank, but I was able to talk my wife into buying a new one. :dance2: I will be moving my 2 Angel, and 2 Bolivian Rams over to the 55. Can anyone suggest something else to go with them? More Angels, more Rams, a school of something? Thanks in advance for any suggestion or advice.

Cory cats are always a cute little bottom dwelling schooling fish, a good clean up crew. Get several of the same kind, they're pretty entertaining! What kind of angels do you have?

i had pretty much the same setup as you and i had some drawf gouramis, but i think you could go with a moonlight or pearl gourami, if the angels are small enough you could go with neons or angels, any school of tetras would look good

I'm not sure what kind of angels I have. They were sold to me as "Small Angelfish", they were from a local breeded at the LFS. They have silver bodies with pinkish fins.

A group of corydoras always adds character and fun to an aquarium. I would go with a group of six. I don't know if gouramies would be a good idea since there might be some territorial issues with the angels. Gouramies and angels don't mix too well I heard. And if you decide to get grouping fish, like neon tetras, make sure they aren't too small that your angels can eat them when the angels are full grown.

The Stock in my Boyfriends 55 is pretty fun right now.
2 Powder Blue dwarf gourami's
2 Bolivian Rams
3 green corys
1 Julii cory
1 serpea tetra
1 rasbora
1 black skirted tetra
12 black neon tetras
5 yellow labs
1 CAE
1 Common pl*co

Well except don't do the CAE because that jerk has gottan aggressive and needs to be rehomed.

He is also holding on to 6 pastel tail guppies, and 6 Calico Platies till my 90gal finishes cycling.

try a platy or swordtail couple, they'll breed and look cute as a couple. try to get the 2 from the same tank. and only a male+female, cuz i had 1 male+2 females and one of the girls changed sex! and the good thing is, the angels will keep their breeding population under control by eating the fry.(sad, but true and helpful!)

and get 7 glolight tetras, they chase eachother ;)

I'd go with a school of black skirt tetras also. They are hardy and live a long time. Mine are at least 4 years old and survived a harsh salt treatment of salt for ich.
