New 75 gallon Angel tank

My 75G: 5 Angels, 7 lemon tetras, 7 rummynose tetras, 10 otos, 1 pearl gourami, 1 male apistogramma borelli, and 2 cherry barbs that are going to live forever (they are over 6 years old).

I picked up this tank off craigslist..got it last night and set it up to test the equiptment.

it is definatly a 75 with oak stand and canopy..it has a wet/dry sump and a protein skimmer..tho the skimmer is not set up in the freshwater set up.

turns out this is a custom acrylic tank..the lady got tired of keeping aquariums..so she sold the set up with all the supplies.. I won't tell you what she sold this for ...I'm a bit embarrassed and someone might turn me in for stealing... ;)

after it runs and I make sure everything is functioning..I'll move some bios from the other tanks and move the danios into this one to get the cuycle established.

one thing I learned..keep an eye on craigslist.

My 75:

8 subadult angels
3 subadult festivums (excellent mix with angels)
6 apisto. cacatouides (2M, 4F)
pair apsito. agazzisi
12 large neon tetras (dangerous w/angels and festivums, as they may become food one day, but I decided to give it a try)

rlendog,
now that's interesting..festivums huh..never crossed my mind..but definately food for thought.

I thought about neon..knowing that there is an excellent chance that they will become food...LOL

oh man..now you got me thinking... :duh:

how do rms and other dwarf cichlids do with BN's??

I'm going to ba adding a bunch of slate hidieholes..if that matters
