Check out what I got today!! Her name is Sunny, someone couldn't keep her so guess who's door they went knocking on!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay Doll!!! She reminds me of one that was very special to me that died about 8 years ago, she's roughly 4-5 months old....

hehehe, thanks guys :D Needless to say, I am a happy doll..... nursie, you know from experience what absolute doll's these little guys are. What's weird is how very delicate I see her now because of my other bird which is a rainbow lory.
 
My parents' bird LOVES my dad. If she hears him come in the house she starts calling until he comes to see her. My folks have a sun room they let her fly around in and she will sit on my dad's shoulder when he reads the paper, tries to groom his hair, and will try to take a sip out of his beer can....lol!
They buy every musical stuffed bird they can find and have them lined up and play them for her. She has her own tape player, bird music tapes, and I think possibly more toys than I had as a child.
 
Congratulations!! She's very pretty! I'm sure she'll have a great home from now on. I want to get another cockatiel once we buy a house. I'm on a "no more pets" rule right now.

hehehe, Nursie, I can see her being spoied, it's awfully easy to spoils these babies :D sheesh, I love her already :)

hehehe,thanks Leo, that is funny!! I was on a "no more" rule too, hehehe but sob stories are sob stories, and hehehehe, I'm such a sucker for them :)

the ladder came with her :) She'll be moving into a bigger cage tonight, the ladder will be going with her.... ;)
 
That's a nice bird. My wife has 6 cockatiels and a baby white capped pionus and every morning they greet me with a chirpy chorus. They can come out with some really strange sounds.
