New air pump

Guys, im looking for a new air pump for my stingray tank. It has to be powerfull yet quite low on energy costs. The most important thing however is that it has to be silent. My tank is in my sleeping/living room (student) and i would like to be able to sleep with the pump on.
Im looking for an output of 40-60L/min.
I was told pumps from Nitto Kohki are good but also read a lot about the Hi Blow or Dong Yang pump series. Any of you got any experience with these pumps? Any other suggestions for brands or types?

I don't have much experience with air pumps in general. He is one I have used in the past, it is powerful and quiet.

I have the same one. It's in the cabinet under the stand, and I can barely hear it. I hear the bubbles more than the pump.

I use a tetra whisper too. Super quiet, has 4 contact points with the ground, and all have rubber feet on them so it doesn't rattle unless the sides touch something...

I second the whisper air pump. I use it on my invert tank and I can hardly hear it.

whisper air pump, hands down the quietest pump I have ever used... and you can get it in about 5 sizes...

My pumps don't keep me from sleeping. My fish often complain about my snoring though.

I put my pumps on a square of carpet, turned upside-down greatly reduces noise
