no it's a double red. A tripple red has to have the anal fin completely red not partial, if not then it's just a double red. My double red is the same.

Thanks gang.. I got these guys from Atlantis in New York they were sold to me as Double Reds but this is my first time keeping these guys..

Ive never owned Apisto's of any kind. They look like neat fish though.

my fav fish, i had apisto's cacatouides aggazzii and steel blue (borellii) borelli breed alot but others nothing yet

Very nice. They will only get better as they settle in.

BTW, "Steel Blue" and Borelli are two totaly different fish and have no relation to each other.
