ok this summer i wanna jump back into having a cichlid tank, it's been a while, so i would like some suggestions.

i am thinking of getting a 90 or 100 gal, some soft sand substrate and some holey rock mixed with some slate, not too much need alot of swimmin room.

these are the fish that i would like to stock:
4-frontosa's
1-venustus
1-albino red oscar
2-red jewel

let me know what you think all you cichlid people, i would greatly appreciate it! thanx!!!

Most would suggest your list contains a mix of uncompatible cichlids (they're all from different regions) as well as being too small to house all of the fish on your list (for example, a 90gal would be too small for just the four frontosas).

With that said, in a much larger tank I keep frontosas and venustus together with no real issues.

You may want to reconsider your list, starting with fish that are most compatible with each other and adequately suited to a 90-100gal tank.

Keep in mind, if you are serious on the hobby, this initial tank could be the grow out, and a larger tank brought in later to handle the growth.
