So I got a new used tank and it came with two bluegills a catfish and a painted turtle. A goldfish too, but I've had them before.
How do I care for these guys??

One is about 5-6in, other is 4-5in and the catfish is 6-7in.
Turtle is around 3.4in.

First thing is to split them up, unless the tank is very large. Providing a basking spot for the turtle is a necessity, and Bluegills are pretty rough customers when they hit maturity and the more room you give them the less problems you'll have. Depending on species the catfish could become a monster.

Turtle is temporarily with the goldfish. Goldfish came with a....5gal I think.
The Bluegills and catfish are in my 40breeder. I'm not looking to keep the Bluegills, I've read they get to 12in. And the catfish...looks to be one that will get huge, so it will also have to go soon. So all three are available for free, btw.
But in the meantime, I'd like to know what I can do to keep them happy. Temps, decor, food, etc.
I'll get pics tomorrow of them...
=)

Any temp that you're comfortable at is fine for the fish. The Catfish will eat the empty container after whatever food you had is gone, and if the Bluegills have been in captivity long their eating habits would be similar. Both would prefer meatier types of food such as worms, shrimp and such.

All are alive this morning and doing well. Put in 2 minnows with the 3 big fish, they ate them overnight. =)

Definitely. We had bgs all over our lake/river in my hometown. They taste great salted and peppered a bit with some char...wait...you don't want to eat them, do you? Lol rehome them if you can they get massive!

Catfish looks similar to this guy below. I'm thinking it might be a channel cat, anyone wanna come down, pick him up and release him and the others? I don't know of an area to do that. These three were caught by the guy I got them from, he had others but they kind of ate each other.

that catfish looks like a brown bullhead.

usually not a good idea to release captive fish back...
