I have new babies. The problem being are they good babies or bad babies???
they are very small. longer then wide. like a small small oval. I think I see antennas and looks like feather like legs???many of them..they are a white clear in color. They stayed out when the lights came on. OK. with all that info does anyone have a guess. Should I just sit back and see what develops?

sounds like some sort of pod, do you have a pic? some are good actually most are good. There are some bad isopods but I am sure what you have isn't them.....

I was taking the pics and found another new one. The pink bubble looking one next to the shrimp.(he's a camra hog). I don't know if you will be able to see the small white ones. they are hardly showing up. can't get any closer.
Live rocks are so cool. It won't let me upload pics. said to large....
any suggestions. I sent it to the photo gallery. lets see if it gets on.

Use a web based pic host such as www.photobucket.com and upload your pics to the website then cut and paste them into your post

are they floating around the tank? or on the rock?
they could be any type of pod. or maybe even cleaner shrimp larva.

What kind of starfish do you have?

They may end up dying due to lack of food?
