New Cycle Tank Switch

Yes. Best way would be to move everything from the cycling tank to the new tank. Gravel, decorations, filter, etc.

Harlock,
This is the tank I was considering...
It's a 6 gallon. But it has a biowheel filter instead of my hob. How would I go about this?

Bad link. Anyway, you would transfer the media from your current filter to the new filter or to the tank. If it's an HOB filter, you could rubberband the old media around the new intake, or if it fits in the media slot, use it there.

a larger home for your betta?

I'd move over all of the gravel, then attach the new and the current filter. That way, you retain all of the cycling bacteria, and allow the new filter to establish as well. Or, take the filter median out of either filter and put that into the tank and just have one of the filters going. If that makes sense.
