I'm also eager to hear about your results. I saw eggs and a breeder in a LFS the other day, and thought it'd be neat to grow treats for my fish and am surprised that I hadn't come across any discussion of it here.

I looked through the Big Al's catalog and was kind of put off by the egg prices, though. But I have no idea how long 6g of eggs last.
