New Filter

Yep, at that price, it had better do all my water changes, too !!

I hear it reminds you of weekly cartridge cleanings. I guess if you have to clean it every week or two you do need reminding.

I kidding aside, I think they post the users manual on that site you posted, It can tell you more then you need to know as it just came out on the market. Id might buy it if the price was say $197 retail and $155 on Zbay LOL

Thanks guys. It sure it a pretty penny. Have been contemplating a large tank in the office, and was thinking of doing canister filter(s) vs. sump. Maybe less noise - can't imagine trying to work with a loud trickle or sound of a large pump. This just caught my eye, probably more form than function. Lots of canister filters out there, too many choices, I'll just keep on contemplating i guess.......

Dang!!!! That's a LOT of filter! And at $500.00 they better be giving a FREE Filter Cartridge.

would not waste 500.00 on a filter period not when you can get the same results for alot less.

Actually better results, according to the G series manual specs, the FX5 runs circles around that thing performance wise. The FX5 only requiring cleaning about once every 3 months for me, silent as a grave stone and enough GPM to power more wave makers, spray bars, and bio wheels for a small aquatic circus act.

But the G series does look the part Ill give it that. These days that's all that really matters anymore.
