New Fish

Recently purchased a new fish. Its a vermiculated Angel and the orgins are singapore. Has anyone ever heard of this species. I read somewhere that this is one fish to avoid. Does anyone else have the same views?

The latin name is Chaetodontoplus mesoleucus. I know nothing more than that about them.

According to Marine Fishes by S. Michael, the Vermiculated or Singapore Angelfish requires min. 55g and max length is 6.7 in. "Poses a moderate risk to large-polyped stony corals. May also eat some soft coral polyps and nip at zoanthids. ...a challenge to keep. Some adapt quickly to aquarium life, while others hide constantly and never feed. Provide a quietly situated aquarium with lots of hiding places and nonaggressive tankmates, and the chances of success are increased. Live rock and a good crop of macroalgae, such as Caulerpa, or microalgae may facilitate acclimation. Feed frozen foods that contain Spirulina algae, mysid shrimp, and/or finely shaved fresh or frozen shrimp at least 3x/day. It will browse on filamentous algae and diatoms..." Picture is beautiful.
