New Freebie 10g :)

dunno, about the stock, i just did my first freebie 10gal, and my smallest tank yesterday with a african cichlid, sorry no help, never did any small tanks before
I know its a weekday and a lot of people are at work, but im on vacation and i wanted to get an answer so im bumping it now...
Try bumping up the school of the Pseudomogil getrudae as they'd be much more happier. With that, you're going to need to keep up with water changes, to 30% weekly.
Id choose between the Checkerboard Cichlid and the Honeycomb Tatia since they are both bottom dwellers. I'd pick the Checkerboard since they are so cool looking. I'd pick a different small fish. I'd think about getting a Honey Gourami as middle to upper fish.
Also, get some sort of Nerite Snails since I've fallen inlove with Clithon spp. and Zebra Nerites. :]

I'm gonna do a little browsing around to see about another middle-upper level fish for the tank. I really like the gertrude's rainbows but there are a lot of other dwarf rainbows that i think would work too. I'll post again in a little bit for a "finalized" stock list. I already have nerites in my other 10g so i can move them over or I might skip them. I also have briggs in the other tank, too. Maybe some of the fancier nerites or shrimp would be nice in this tank

5-6 x Furcata Rainbows OR Threadfin Rainbows
1 x checkerboard cichlid
1 x topdweller of some sort..
and maybe some snails.
How does that sound? Any suggestions for a topdweller? I'm not really a big gourami fan, so is there anything else I could put instead? I wanted some sort of catfish, but I think I'd probably rather have the checkerboard, unless I get an apisto (are they topdwellers?).
