Just wanted to say introduce myself - partly to say hi, and partly because the site keeps gently prodding me to.
) My boyfriend and I just started a 55 gal tank a couple of weeks ago. There's a really great store around here called Aqua Tropics that's been helping us out a lot. My boyfriends much better at all of the technical stuff, but I'm learning slowly.
Right now we have 3 ocellaris clownfish, a cleaner shrimp, 2 peppermint shrimp, and a bunch of little blue hermit crabs and turbos, a long with about 15-20 lb of live rock and all the critters that come along with that. Some of the rock had some live coral, still as well. We also have a refugium set up with live rock and plants and snails. We're waiting until we get the hang of this a little longer, and then we want to start adding coral. We're also thinking of getting some harlequin shrimp (we like the clown theme) and maybe a Tang to help with the algae.
Um, that's about it for now.
