If you can't afford to take care of Val, with all the shots and tests, I found this website...
http://thecatcornerinc.rescuegroups.org/
It is a no-kill cat rescue society that takes in kittens and cats...All the tests for Felk/Fiv can be pretty expensive and rabies shots ...and not to mention the meds that might need to be given for any unseen ailments...hookworms, roundworms, tapeworms, and so on...so if you feel you can't affordably take care of Val...you can take (her I suppose by the name change to Val) to this place that I cut and pasted for ya...too bad you can't keep her...very adorable kitten...A place here in Minnesota is in the process of rescuing over 200 stray cats and kittens where the owners say they don't own the strays...I wish you all the best of luck and hope you find her (hope it is a her) a good home....and the shelter will spay her also....that can be really expensive also...but good luck anyway, and keep us posted on her progress...
