Hi, I got some new botia striata and I want to know if it is ok to start off feeding them with bloodworms to get them established in the tank because bloodworms are one of their favorite treats. It must be working because after 3 days I can approach the tank and they wont get scared off. I plan to feed them algae wafers, frozen bloodworms, shrimp pellets, zuchinni, cucumber, and sometimes I will get those little snails that are in the tanks at petsmart. They will also get leftover flakes.
What do you Think?

I'd go ahead & start feeding the other foods soon otherwise they might become hooked on just bloodworms, not a balanced diet. My striatas never ate veggies but it's worth a try. I kept snails in a non-loach tank, I'm leery of introducing disease or parasites snails might carry from a lfs.
