Well, I'm re-siliconing an old 55 gallon that I recieved as a donation when I used to work at my local fish store. It was getting a little 'iffy' on the old silicone, so I decided to redo it. I'm also making a new stand and canopy since the old ones are just about the worst I've ever seen.
Good news through all this is it came with a Bak-Pak (go figure, needs new pump and bio-bale), and retrofitted Hamilton 55w PC bulbs, along with 3 bags of Reef Crystals. Not a total piece of crap, eh?
I'm stuck on what to do with it. After much deliberation, I've narrowed it down to these choices:
-Brackish
-Community Salt
-African Cichlids (Peacock/other mix)
-Species Salt
So which would be best in your opinion? Ignore the salt and the Bak-Pak for now, I can easily get another HOB filter. I understand that its usually up to dedication and personal preference, but I'm dedicated enough to make it any one of them, and I'm sooo stuck
(I forgot how to make a poll  )
