After some fish rearrangements the melanochromises are out and new peacocks are in, I still have the pseudotropheuses and a metriaclima in the tank, but they don't seem to be a problem so far and with changes the tank seems alot quieter.

The new fish I've got today is the male albino aulonocara baenschi (new yellow regal) and a juvie male aulonocara rubescens (ruby red), here are the pics:

Albino baenschi:

Rubescens (still a juvie, so not much color on him just the red on shoulders and fins):

And here are some updates of other peacocks in the tank:

Stuartgranti maleri (chipoka), not as stressed anymore and is showing some more yellow, still a ways to go until it shows its mature coloring:

Dragon Blood/Firefish (or whatever else its called), it has gotten some more red on shoulders and the clear on the fins is beginning to turn white (saw some of the mature males at the lfs and they look awesome :) ):

Good pics! Nice additions.

those are going to be some excellent fish - really top quality - nice pics & good luck with them.

Ok, well two more fish got traded in :D (hopefully the last for a while).

So far I've had the worst luck with albinos, had a very shy albino auratus that went back, an albino greshakei that had to be put down because it wasn't aggressive at all to hold his own and now for the same reason the albino aul. baenschi went back.

So I took him and the dom socolofi, that went nuts and took over the whole tank, nipping fins on everyone. In exchange I've got two uncolored, unsexed (yet) juvie peacocks, aulonocara maulana (bi-color 500) and aulonocara hansbaenschi (red shoulder), tank is doing great so far, no aggression at all, once the peacocks start coloring up I'll post the update with pics :)
