Just did a quick search on Ebay; little over 3400 offered. Quick scan showed a low price of $1200; most in the $1500 range.

Idiots....

What did you search? cause just typing in playstation 3 it came up with 19280 auctions. Just looked again in the 10 minutes since I posted another 280 systems have been added

Not counting the almost 5000 completed auctions from people who had presales. Also there are auctions listed as PS3 and playstation3. I would say right now there is around 30-40 thousand PS3's on ebay.

The system was actually released in Japan. It's a software glitch that can be fixed with a patch.

Your talking about the 200 or so games that are having problems with backwards compatibilty? 200 out of 3000+ games is hardly a problem. Even so they have already fixed the problem.

A lot of those auctions are for peripherals for the system. I refined my search for just the system...

It was supposed to be released last year already, but the developers couldn't keep it from over heating. Wonder if they got it completely fixed? lol

They have done smash my ________ , for a while now. There will be a smash my Wii posted sometime soon. I think the best one I saw was the Smash my Xbox360.
