New skimmer sugestions

I'm new in saltwater aquiriums. I have a protien skimer right now built into my sump. (I don't think it does a thing) so I would like to get a new external one. Does anyone have any suggestion as to which one to buy, or for that matter which ones not to buy.

Well what kind of skimmer? DO you see lots of bubbles in the chamber?

Great skimmer, and comparable to the allmighty Euroreef.

Whats your budget though?? coralife skimmers ant a bad choice either, but are bulky.
