Since the general consensus was that despite my wishes I should not add anything more to my 10g with male betta, 3 dwarf platies and mystery snail, this is supposed to be arriving tonight: And before you read it, yes I am furiously reading up on what running this will entail and yes, I will be begging here for advice. There are only two survivor fish coming with it, a clown loach and what the seller says is a blue gourami. And it will stay that way until I can get a proper handle on things. Here goes:

Thank you! It has arrived and it looks great. It is 6 years old and in great shape. I'm very excited! The two little fishies survived but now I have to put them in my 10g until I get the 90 up and running. I'm worried about compatability. I hope that little clown loach doesn't take out my mystery snail in the night and that the spotted gourami doesn't battle to the death with my beloved betta. They are floating in baggies right now and I saw a cave in one of the boxes of goodies from the 90g so I've stuck that in my 10 for Mr. Loach to hide in.

Thanks - that price is in Canadian dollars too and included delivery! Here is a photo of the new tank (seller's photo). I'll be cleaning it today and starting to make arrangements for a plant order. The clown loach and gourami spent the night in my 10g and actually seem to be getting along fine with my betta, snail & dwarf platies. No problems noted yet.

Great deal, we have about a 1000.00 into ours now, just some of your equipment is worth that.....:)
 
That would mean scraping all the old stuff out, How does it look ? I would chance it and use it, its actually not that old......:)
